At Margaret River Surgery, our mission is to provide a high standard of patient care with a commitment to continuity where possible, promoting wellness and disease prevention to all of our patients. The surgery was first opened in the year 1985, founded by Dr Raymond Clarke who has since retired from the business side, but continues to consult. Dr Cathryn Milligan took over the business on the 1st of December, 2013 and is the sole director.
To date, the practice employs 14 general practitioners, both male and female, some part-time and others full-time, with roster commitment to the emergency department of the local hospital. We are committed to maintaining continuity of care for all of our patients and all doctors exercise autonomy in clinical decision making. In addition to the normal range of general medical care, our doctors provide:

- ECG and Spirometry

- Diabetes education

We also offer an email service whereby prescription renewals and referral letters can be requested by email. Our practice also participates in the teaching of medical students, enticing the next generation of doctors to rural general practice as part of our ongoing commitment to providing healthcare to our community.
As a mixed billing practice, we offer bulk billing to all children up to the school age of 18 years. Otherwise, our fees are $80 for a standard consultation and $140 for a long consultation, a Medicare rebate applies, respectively. We offer reduced rate for pension card holders and healthcare card holders. Your Medicare rebate can be deposited back into your bank account using HICAPS on the same day.
Our location is ideal for those who live or work in Margaret River, Burnside, Bramley, Rosa Brook, Rosa Glen, Witchcliffe, Redgate, Gnarabup, and Prevelly. Patient parking is available onsite.
